You can use any of the special fields below when you do your import process. They will link with the appropriate fields in the database.

Patron Data Special Import Columns   Top

• gPatronType
  • This is the Patron Type field (e.g. individual, company, staff, etc).
  • Will update Code Tables >> Patron Type if a new value is found.
• gPhoneHome
  • This field adds a new Patron Home Phone Number to the patron record.
• gPhoneWork
  • This field adds a new Patron Work Phone Number to the patron record.
• gPhoneCell
  • This field adds a new Patron Mobile Phone Number to the patron record.
• gPhoneFax
  • This field adds a new Patron Fax Phone Number to the patron record.
• gEmailHome
  • This field adds a new Patron Home Email Address to the patron record.
• gEmailWork
  • This field adds a new Patron Work Email Address to the patron record.
• gWebsite
  • This field adds a new Patron Work Website URL to the patron record.

  • This is the Patron Primary Phone Number field.
  • This is a special field that updates existing data rather then adding a new contact to the patron account.

  • This is the Patron Primary Email Address field.
  • This is a special field that updates existing data rather then adding a new contact to the patron account.

  • This is the Patron Primary Fax Number field.

  • This is the Patron Primary Website URL field.
  • This is a special field that updates existing data rather then adding a new contact to the patron account.

Patron Marketing Special Import Columns   Top

• MKT_C_SEQ
  • The column header for the field Marketing Patron #, this is used to update or overwrite existing data. It should only be used if the data file originated from Theatre Manager. Read more about using this field here.
• MKT_FIELD_1 through MKT_FIELD_5
  • These column headers refer to customizable patron fields that some organizations use to track unique patron values from another system, which makes them usable as a matching field if needed. Read more about using these fields here.

Mail Lists Special Import Columns   Top

• PM_SHORT_NAME
  • To import a mail list, you must have at least one column called PM_SHORT_NAME with a values that are the name of the Mail List to which the patron will be added (e.g. list1 or list2, etc). Theatre Manager will create a new Mail List if it can't exactly match the name to an existing list.
  • To add multiple mail lists, you have two options:
    • Comma separate the Mail List names in the PM_SHORT_NAME column (e.g. list1,list2,list3)
    • Have multiple columns (up to 15) in your file named gName1 through gName15, each containing either empty values or a Mail List name to which you want people added (e.g. list1 or list2, etc)

Order Data Special Import Columns   Top

• I_ORD_REASON_BUY_RESULT
  • This is the Why Did Patron Buy? field.
  • Will update Code Tables >> Order Reason to Buy if a new value is found.
• gSource
  • This is the Delivery Method - Ticket Handling Status.
  • The value options are:
    • 0 = Hold for Pickup/Taken
    • 1 = Mail to Patron
    • 2 = Hold for WillCall
    • 3 = Hold @ Door for Coupon

Ticket Data Special Import Columns   Top

• gTixUsed
  • This is the flag for Patron Attended to indicate if patron attended the performance.
  • Use the value attended to indicate that the patron attended the performance.
• gAttendedReason
  • This is the description for Patron Attended Reason or Not Attended Reason.
  • Will update Code Tables >> Course Attendance Reasons if a new value is found.

Donation Data Special Import Columns   Top

  • The value options are:
    • 0 = Internet/Web Sales
    • 1 = Telephone Order
    • 2 = Mail Order
    • 3 = Patron Present
