Add Patron Address Top
You can add an address to a patron record from the Contact Card or the Patron Detail Address Tab. The steps from either location are the same:
From either the Contact Card or Address Tab, click the Add button.
Enter Street Address Line 1, Street Address Line 2 (only if applicable), City, and State/Province. When you go to enter the Zip/Postal Code, a popup will appear with options based on your entry so far. If you enter the Zip/Postal Code BEFORE entering a city name and state/province code, these fields will auto-populate based on the zip you entered.
Click Save. Closing the Contact Card without hitting Save also saves your changes. If relevant, remove the prior address or use Set Primary Address (via gear icon on contact Card or button on the Address Tab) to change the patron's primary address to the new entry.
The new address will now appear on the Contact Card and Address Tab of the Patron Window and be searchable from the Contact List. The primary address will be indicated with a green dot icon.

Caution
A patron's address cannot be removed if it is marked as primary on the account.
You can remove an address to a patron record from the Contact Card or the Patron Detail Address Tab. The steps from either location are the same:
From the left-hand side of the Contact Card, click the Remove button.
From the Address Tab, select the address to be removed and either click the Remove button or right-click (control-click on a Mac) and select Delete from the context menu.
On the confirmation popup, click Delete to complete the process.
If the address is marked as primary, this error dialogue box will appear. To resolve, locate or add a secondary address and use Set Primary Address (via gear icon on contact Card or button on the Address Tab) to mark it as primary instead. Then repeat steps 1 and 2 to delete the now secondary address.
